COMMON REGULATIONS
Please read the following terms and conditions (“Terms”) carefully. By registering for the Alliance Bank Heritage Run 2025 (the “Event”), each participant—whether an individual or, in the case of a minor (below 18 years old), their parent, guardian, or legal representative (collectively referred to as “Participant”)—acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms.
EVENT ORGANISATION
- The Event is organised by GoSportz Sdn. Bhd. (“the Organiser”) on behalf of Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad.
- Event Details:
- Date: 26 October 2025
- Start Time: 5:00 a.m.
- Venue: Padang Kota Lama (Esplanade), Penang
ELIGIBILITY
- Open to individuals aged 5 years and above.
- Participants aged 5 – 17 years (“Minor Participants”) must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 and above throughout the Event.
- Participants under 18 must obtain parental or legal guardian consent to participate.
- The Organiser reserves the right to modify, add, or cancel race categories and eligibility criteria without prior notice.
Event Registration
- By registering, Participants grant the Organiser and its affiliates permission to collect, process, store, and use personal information (“Registration Data”) for purposes including but not limited to:
- Managing event participation and related promotions.
- Processing payments through third-party service providers.
- Tracking race performance and participation records.
- Sending event-related notifications and administrative updates.
- Resolving participant inquiries and enhancing customer experience.
- Conducting marketing and promotional activities.
- Purchasing Group Personal Accident Insurance as required by the Sports Commissioner of Malaysia.
- Participants for the 3KM and 7KM categories must be at least 5 years old as of 31 December 2025.
- Participants for the 12KM and 21KM categories must be at least 15 years old as of 31 December 2025.
- Baby prams and strollers are only permitted on the 3KM and 7KM routes and are the sole responsibility of the participant.
- The Organiser reserves the right to reject or cancel registrations found to be incomplete, fraudulent, or in violation of the Terms.
21KM Categories
- Malaysian Men & Women (21KM)
– Open exclusively to Malaysian citizens.
– Participants must hold a valid MyKad or Malaysian Passport.
– Only Malaysians are eligible for rankings and prizes in this category. - International Men & Women (21KM)
– Open to all nationalities, including Malaysians.
– Malaysians who wish to compete in the international field must register under this category.
– Non-Malaysians are required to register in this category.
12KM, 7KM & 3KM Categories
– Open to all, regardless of nationality.
– Both Malaysian and international participants are welcome to join these distances.
Event participation
- Participants fully assume all risks associated with the Event, including injury, property damage, or other unforeseen incidents.
- Participants must ensure they are physically fit and have not been advised against participation by a medical professional.
- The Organiser is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses before, during, or after the Event.
- The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant deemed unfit or in breach of the Terms.

- General Rules
- Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the Organiser and race officials.
- Participants feeling unwell or injured should immediately inform the Event’s medical personnel.
- The Organiser is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal belongings.
- Race Accessories
- 3km and 7km Participants must wear the official wristbands at all times.
- 12km and 21km Participants must wear their assigned race bibs throughout the race.
- Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
- Medical Assistance
- Participants agree to receive medical treatment if required during the race.
- If deemed unfit by medical staff, Participants must withdraw from the race immediately.
- No refunds will be provided for participants who withdraw or retire from the Event.
- Photography & Media Rights
- The Organiser and Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad reserve the right to use event photos, videos, and recordings for promotional and advertising purposes without compensation to Participants.
- Prize Eligibility
- No prizes will be awarded for 3km and 7km categories.
- Prizes for 12km and 21km category winners must be claimed in person on event day with a valid ID.
- Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
- Winners must present their original identity card or passport for verification.
EVENT CANCELLATION & CHANGES
- The Organiser reserves the right to postpone, modify, or cancel the Event without prior notice.
- No refunds will be provided in cases of cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., extreme weather, natural disasters, safety threats, or any unforeseen circumstances).
- The Organiser may change the event venue, date, or format, if necessary, with reasonable efforts made to inform Participants in advance.
